Our story, our mission, our heart

Welcome to Hands of Grace Community Outreach. Discover the passion behind our work, our commitment to serving the community, and how we strive to make a tangible difference in the lives of the elderly, disabled, and less fortunate.

Our inspiration and mission

Hands of Grace Community Outreach was founded out of a deep commitment to addressing the needs within and around our community in Manning, South Carolina. Our mission is to serve the elderly, disabled, and less fortunate by providing essential support such as food, clothing, and other necessities. We believe that by enhancing the quality of life for individuals, we can strengthen the bonds within impoverished communities, fostering a sense of hope and solidarity.

Who we help

Our programs are designed to assist low-income families and individuals who often find themselves struggling to make ends meet, living paycheck to paycheck, or relying on social security and disability payments. We understand the challenges these individuals face daily and are dedicated to providing the support necessary to alleviate some of their burdens and improve their overall well-being.

Making a real difference

One family's story truly highlights the impact of our work. When the father, the primary earner, fell ill with the flu and couldn't work for three weeks, the family faced immense hardship. Hands of Grace stepped in to help with utilities, food, and essential medications, ensuring they wouldn't lose access to basic necessities during a critical time. These moments underscore our commitment to being a pillar of support when it's needed most.

"Each and every person is important and needs to be treated with respect and dignity regardless of their station in life."
